Discover Our Alumni - Nick Siman, Class of 2011

The Chicago Cubs winning the World Series was an incredibly wonderful and joyous experience for so many of us, but there is one Guerin alum who was there for it all!

Nick Siman ’11, is a Client Service Specialist in Corporate Partnerships for the Chicago Cubs. “It’s been surreal; I don’t think it’s really set in with everybody yet,” said Nick when asked about the overall experience.

Nick graduated from Loyola University in Chicago in 2015 where he double majored in marketing and sports management. He hopes to further his career within the Cubs organization. This is his fifth year with the Cubs, he started as a Fan Service Ambassador and worked his way up to his current role. Nick commented, “The Cubs are a great organization to work for and the people truly care about you and help you grow inside and outside the office.”

Of his Guerin experience, Nick recalled that taking AP classes helped him a lot at Loyola.  The amount of work with the AP courses was comparable to a college course and that’s how Guerin teachers approached the courses as well. “The AP classes challenged you and gave you a preview of what the next four years of your academic career are going to look like,” noted Nick. He continued, “I truly believe Guerin would be the right choice for anyone’s son or daughter because the school challenges you and prepares you for the next step in your education.”
