Although she is no longer with us, her memory is honored by the lasting impression she made on the women she taught.

And, you’ll learn how you can be a part of preserving the memories and empowering the future for fine art productions at Guerin Prep through a masterful renovation of our beloved auditorium.

Straight A Capital Campaign Annouced at the Big Event

At the Big Event on March 8, 2008, Guerin Prep's new President, Terry John Malik announces the Straight A Capital Campaign. Read all about it.

The campaign will help develop the Holy Cross Athletic Center and support the construction of a new lobby and gathering space to be added to the existing Holy Cross gym. Other initiatives will benefit our students in the areas of Academics, Arts and (Financial) Aid.

Message from the President

Our commitment to provide academically excellent Catholic education at the corner of 80th and Belmont is as strong today as it was 45 years ago when Mother Guerin and Holy Cross High Schools first opened their doors to young women and men. When Holy Cross closed in 2004, the Sisters of Providence honored the Archdiocese’s request to admit young men and we became known as Guerin College Preparatory High School. We are ever mindful that Guerin Prep is built upon the rich traditions and collective history of Mother Guerin and Holy Cross. We will never abandon those traditions. We will never forget our history.

Today we celebrate our renewed commitment to our students, to you and to the community and reaffirm it by launching our Master Plan for the school. In total, our Master Plan carries a price tag of $10 million. Phase I of the plan includes the lion’s share of the plan’s initiatives and it will be funded by the sale of a portion of our campus and by our Straight A Campaign—a $2.5 million capital fund raising drive. With your participation, we will enhance and expand the four core components of Guerin Prep’s mission: Academics, Athletics, Arts and Aid.

Only with your generosity can we achieve a “straight A” record on behalf of today’s students and those who follow. Daily, we encourage the young men and women of Guerin Prep to exceed their expectations. We ask that you do the same in response to our request for your financial support.
