The Sullivan Program and Barbara Welch Learning Enrichment Center
To honor Sister Marie Sullivan, principal of Guerin Prep from 1975-1987, Guerin Prep established the Sullivan Program in 2008. It is a developmental education program for students needing to build the academic skills to succeed in Guerin’s college prep curriculum and post-secondary education.

The Barbara Welch Learning Enrichment Center is named for Barbara Welch, long-time educator at Guerin High School. The center, which is available to all students and faculty, promotes the spirit of academic excellence and unfailing generosity so evident in Ms. Welch’s character.

The center has a two-fold focus: 1) providing opportunities for Guerin Prep students to maximize their high school academic performance and enhance their social skills in preparation for success in college, career and life and 2) supporting faculty members in their professional development and their continued implementation of innovative teaching strategies.

Annual Fund - Wherever it is needed most.
Your funds become part of the Annual Fund, a fund that supports the most critical needs at Guerin Prep. Virtually no aspect of our work is left untouched by Annual Fund support. The best part is, it doesn’t take a huge donation to have a big impact. When taken together, gifts to Annual Fund, whether $25 or $25,000, are one of our most significant sources of support. And because Annual Fund gifts are typically unrestricted, they can be directed to areas with the greatest need and the greatest potential for impact.

Today, tuition at Guerin Prep for the 07-08 school year is $7,300, however, the actual cost per student is $9,050. By donating to this year's fund, you're support three very important important initiatives: Technology, Teacher Education and Student Financial Aid.

Each of these funds provide needed scholarship or need-based financial aid to our students to help as many students as we can who want a Catholic education the opportunity to do so.

The Holy Cross Scholarship Fund honors the legacy of Holy Cross high school, one of our foundation schools. This fund provide support for the boys in order to continue the Crusader spirit.

In much the same way, the Saint Mother Theodore Guerin Legacy Fund both builds on the legacy of our other foundation school, Mother Theodore Guerin High School, for whom our school is named, while also honoring the canonization of Mother Theodore as a Saint in the Catholic Church. This fund honors Mother Theodore’s commitment and grants assistance to needy students attending Guerin Prep.

The General Financial Assistance Fund provides additional scholarship/financial aid to students attending Guerin Prep.

Camelia Bufalino Teacher Education Fund
This fund was established to honor Camelia Bufalino, a teacher at Mother Guerin for 25 years. During her tenure, she touched not only students but many teachers on the faculty, both young and old as a mentor and friend. Donations to this fund are earmarked for teacher education initiatives, to keep our faculty among the brightest and the best.
