A Historical Season for Gator Cross Country

The Guerin Prep cross country team earned much recognition this year including advancing to sectionals as a team. Seniors Stephanie Deluna, Danielle Walczak and Joanna Nguyen, junior Andrea Miranda and sophomore Amy Castillo earned a first ever in school history “Team Advancement” to the IHSA Cross Country Sectional Championship Finals. Freshman, Bryan Schwaba also advanced as the youngest male from Guerin to ever qualify for sectionals. All qualifiers ended the season with personal best times.
