Alumni Softball Tournament

HC and MTG alumni showed what they were made of on Saturday, June 5, when they persevered through sometimes pouring rain to compete in the fifth annual alumni softball game, hosted by Guerin Prep's alumni council.

By the time the rain stopped The '99ers, last year's winners led by Captain Jen Butera, had earned the championship in the blue division. A new team entry, "Left on Base," with Patrick Chun as captain, was the winner of the red division.

Unfortunately, the rain did not allow a championship playoff between the two divisions. They'll just have to hope for a rematch (and better weather) next year!

Team POPULAR gave the 99ers a run for the trophy, forcing a play-off game for division championship
