On May 27, the Class of 2009 was officially welcomed into the Alumni Association by Ms. Tina Lilly (top (right), director of alumni relations for Guerin Prep and the many faculty and staff who are alums of either Mother Theodore Guerin or Holy Cross high schools. Pictured are several of those staff members participating in a candle-lighting ceremony. Those students whose parents are alums of MTG or HC were also invited to participate (see group above). A highlight of the ceremony was the giving of the membership cards by these alum parents to their students. (Above right is Jamie Finnegan and her Mom.) The graduates joined in reading the alumni pledge to end the ceremony. |
