Guerin Prep is currently searching for a new president. In the meantime, Mr. Anthony Tinerella, Mr. Kevin Miller and sister Dawn Tomaszewski serve as co-presidents for the school.

Mr. Kevin Miller, Vice President, Director of Financial Services

Mr. Miller joined Guerin Prep in 2007 and brought with him school business experience from Triton College, where he served as the Manager of the Bursar's Office.
Mr. Miller holds a master's degree in Public Administration in Non-Profit Management from the Illinois Institute of Technology, a B.S. in finance from DePaul University and a B.S. in Information Technology from DeVry University. He is a member of the Catholic Association of School Business Administrators and Illinois Association of School Business Officials.
Sister Dawn Tomaszewski,SP, Vice President, Director of Advancement

A graduate of Guerin High School, Sister Dawn joined the staff at Guerin Prep in August 2004 as the director of communications and public relations. She joined the administration of the school as director of institutional advancement with the beginning of the 2005-2006 school year.
On two different occasions, Sister Dawn taught theology and English at Guerin. Just prior to coming to Guerin, she served as the director of communications, public relations and marketing for the Office of Catholic Schools of the Archdiocese of Chicago. She also was the director of congregational advancement for 12 years for the Sisters of Providence.
Sister Dawn holds a master’s degree in journalism from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a master’s degree in theology from the Catholic Theological Union. She earned a B.A. in journalism from Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College.
Karen Booth, Dean of Students

Ms. Booth assumed the position of dean of students with the 2010-2011 school year. She actually began at Guerin Prep in 2006 after serving 23 years as teacher and administrator at Notre Dame High School for Girls, Chicago. She received the Archdiocese of Chicago Heart of School award for leadership in 2005.
In addition to her duties as dean, Ms. Booth serves as a coach for freshman volleyball. She has a B.A. from De Paul University, Chicago, plus graduate credit hours in history from DePaul. She has also earned credits from Oxford University, Oxford, England, and Harvard University, Cambridge. She has just completed a master's degree in educational leadership from Olivet Nazarene University.
Valerie Reiss, Director of Admissions

A 1988 Mother Guerin graduate, Mrs. Reiss returned to her alma mater in 2002 as the assistant to the assistant principal/dean of students. She became the director of admissions in January 2004. She is responsible for the recruitment and admission of new and transfer students to Guerin Prep.

Patty Stranski, Director of Campus Services

Ms. Patty Stranski is the Director of Campus Facilities. She worked for State of Illinois for 20 years prior to coming to Guerin Prep. She was the confidential asstistant to the Directors and Chiefs of Staff of various state agencies, including Transportation, Commerice & Community Affairs, Labor Relations, and Public Health. She served also as an Executive Director of Cook County Republican Party. Ms. Stranski is responsible for Campus Services and Rentals of the facilities. She attended Elmwood Park High School and Triton College.
Sister Jan Ostrowiski, Attendance

Sister Jan came to Guerin Prep in the 2007-2008 school year. She has taught elementary school in the Archdiocese of Chicago for the past 30 years. She ministered at the Providence Family Service in West Hiemboldt area for 6 years. Sr. Jan has a B.A in Education from St. Mary-of-the-Woods, a M.Ed in Curriculum/Instructor from National College of Ed. She received an Associate Degree in Business Management and Information from Triton College.

Ms. King started working at Guerin Prep in 2002. She has been working in high schools for over 16 years. She assigns lockers and parking to students, keep track of all discipline issues, enter demerits, order graduation gowns for seniors, computer input and continued updates of the Zone Live electronic school calender, and complete work for the Dean of Students.

Ms. Debbie Holmes started working at Guerin Prep as the office manager/assistant to the principal in 2008. Her primary responsiblities include a full range of administrative, clerical and office support as well as full support to the principal.
