12 GP Students Named Illinois State Scholars

Top achievers from more than 700 state high schools have been named Illinois State Scholars and 12 Guerin Prep students were among the more than 19,000 high school students with the honor.

The Illinois Student Assistance Commission recognized:Jonathan Cabai, Brad Erlenbach, Therese Golemo, Taylor Greene, Natalie Gwizdz, Rachel Holowicki, Elisa Juliano, Klaudia Kupinska, Adam Larson, Rebecca McManamon, Megan Romberg and Rachael Santos.

State scholar winners rank in the top 10 percent of high school seniors. Selection is based on achievement test scores (ACT) and/or class rank.

Graduation Requirements: The emphasis at Guerin College Preparatory High School is on college preparation. In total, 26 credits are required.

College requirements include:

Foreign Language (None are required, but 2 years are highly recommended)
Fine Art/Practical Art (2)
