Guerin Prep is a great place to learn with a 100 percent college acceptance rate. Our three academic programs of study - Nolan Scholars Program, Providence Program and Sullivan Program - all prepare our students for post-secondary education and offer a truly individualized approach to learning.
Our students also have the opportunity to earn a FULL YEAR OF COLLEGE CREDIT while following our new PLUS ONE dual college credit curriculum. Get on the fast track to earning college credit while still in high school with Concordia University and Triton College's Dual Enrollment and Credit programs.
Guerin has a partnership and collaboration with DePaul University that will focus on STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.) This initiative will increase cross-curricular collaboration while elevating student-centered learning experiences.
Nolan Scholar Program
This is a four-year program designed for high achieving, highly motivated students. Students take honors-level courses, participate in enrichment opportunities and gain mentoring aimed at preparing them to succeed at top tier colleges and universities. Participation in the program is based on test scores, academic record, recommendations and a possible interview.
PROVIDENCE COLLEGE PREP PROGRAM
This program is a rigorous, standards-based college prep curriculum, which links educational opportunities with the fine arts. This four-year course of study will enable students to be prepared not only for college but for life. ACT preparation is built into this program.
Sullivan College Prep Program
This program is designed for students who require help in developing his/her knowledge base and cultivation of essential skills in a given subject area in order to be successful in college and life. Students in the program are re-evaluated at the end of each school year to determine program placement.
Students are able to move among the three programs as their skills and accomplishments allow.
