National Honor Society Induction

NHS Seniors Guerin Prep's senior members of the National Honor Society show off the stoles they received during this year's induction ceremony and which they will wear over their gowns at graduation. The "Arts" Honor Societies

NAHS

National Art Honor Society
These students were inducted into the National Art Honor society on Thursday, May 5 during a ceremony at Guerin Prep. To be a member, you must take at least three art clases and earn an A in each of them and give 20 hours of service to art- related activities.

The seniors are all sporting the special cord they will wear at graduation as a sign of their achievement. They pledge: "to the best of my ability through my talents in art, to help to create a more beautiful world for myself, for humankind, and for all living things." The students are Seniors Matthew Babitsch, Maria Llines, Rudy Melgar, Grace Pflaumer, Monica Puciaty, Allyson Recto and Ashley Sanchez; and Junior Gioia Marzullo.

Quill & Scroll Society
Seniors named to the Quill & Scroll Society display their blue and gold cord, a sign of their membership. These students made outstanding contributions to the production of the school newspaper, The Voyager, and the yearbook, Traces: Conrad Aurita Piatkowski, Emma Brkic, Brian Campbell, Haley Devitt Victoria Giannini, Connor Hudson, Anthony Huspen, rudy Melgar, Lindsay Pitts and Mike Zanazaro

Ms. Kristen Mackie presents these senior members of the International Thespian Society with special recognition for their outstanding contributions to the theatre department, including Anthony Norman, Anthony Huspen, Ryan Donnelly and Vicky Giannini.

Below, the newest members of the society were inducted this May, including honorary members Mrs. Sarafina Norman, costumer extraordinaire, Jordan Chua, chairperson of the fine arts department, and Sister Dawn Tomaszewski, vice president for advancement.
