The new NHS inductees were challenged to follow the four NHS pillars of scholarship, leadership, character and service. National Art Honor Society Induction

Meet the new members of the National Art Honor Society. The students were inducted on Wednesday May 5 during a ceremony at Guerin Prep. To be a member, you must take at least three art clases and earn an A in each of them and give 20 hours of service to art- related activities. The seniors are all sporting the special cord they will wear at graduation as a sign of their achievement. They pledge: "to the best of my ability through my talents in art, to help to create a more beautiful world for myself, for humankind, and for all living things." The students are Anna Chomik, Agatha Waranka, Adriana Flores, Renee Cardenas, Nadia DiNunno, Rudy Melgar, Alina Thomas and Gioia Marzullo.
